DO SOMETHING today...

To begin, visit www.MittRomney.com/CallatHome today:

Tuesday, Feb 5, 1pm to 11pm, EST

You will be asked to check a few boxes to confirm proper use of the program.
When you click “Start Calling” you will be directed to the login screen which will ask you for a username and a password.

Use this login information:
Username: winfeb5
Password: mitt08

Once logged into the “call at home” system on your computer, you will be prompted to enter your phone number, after which, the system will automatically call you.

You must have either a broadband connection, or two separate phone lines so you can be online and on a telephone at the same time.

You may use a cell phone, but remember you might be using cell phone minutes. If you use a landline, we pay for the long distance charges, not you.

Simply answer the phone and listen to the instructions provided to you over the phone. A script will be provided to you within the application

For each caller, read the script and fill out the fields as the person you’re calling responds to your questions. If you have trouble logging in, or if the system does not call your phone see below for some of our troubleshooting tips.

Quick Call@Home Talking Tips to get you started:

-Remember when you hear the ‘Beep’ the person on the other line has already picked up their phone and said hello.

-If the person’s name hasn’t appeared on your screen when the machine beeps, simply introduce yourself first - by then the person’s name should appear.

-Please try to keep your phone calls short as the script is very simple; anything over a few minutes is too long. We are trying to reach as many voters as possible so be brief.

-Do not argue or get upset with people over the phone – if someone is not a supporter, simply thank them for their time and complete the call.

-Always be polite.

-You may use a cell phone, but remember that you may be using up your cell phone minutes.

-What if the system does not call my phone?

-A likely problem is if you have a telemarketer blocker on your phone you can disable it by picking up your phone, type *87 then hang-up. To enable it again, pick up the phone again, and hit *87 and hang up. This has been the number one issue in calls not coming in from our system to yours.
